Shop the closet I am not your average designer. I rarely sketch my designs but my head is full of ideas and inspiration, working with found fabrics has its limits and that is what i love about recycling. Each and every piece of fabric has its own personality, it is a certain shape & size with a certain feel to it , As a designer i am lead by the fabrics and trims, if a vintage beach towel is large i thinks large, i think baggy and bold a, if a pretty table cloth is small and fragile i think small and elegant and makes a pretty halter neck sun top. No two days in my studio are the same and that is the way i like Angie likes it. Allowiing fabrics and finds to dictate the designs .

One of one

Every piece is its own thing. No size runs, no restocks. If it's gone, it's gone — find another fabric, make another piece.

Fabric with a past

Deadstock, vintage curtains, charity-shop blazers, your grandmother's table linen. Everything starts as something else.

Visible mending

We patch, sashiko-stitch and over-dye where it shows. The history of a fabric is the best part of it.

Made on a small table

No factories, no overseas printers. Three pairs of hands, one studio, one sewing machine that's older than us.

Rummage

Charity shops, vintage fairs, deadstock rolls and your grandma's airing cupboard. We don't buy new fabric.

Rinse & mend

Everything's washed, repaired and re-dyed in small batches. The history stays, the stains don't.

Cut & stitch

Patterns drawn on the table, cut by hand, sewn in the evening on an ancient machine.

Sent off

Wrapped in tissue, signed by whoever made it, in the post within a week.
